Our Story
The Aero Scooter® journey began in 2015 when our founder, James Wilson, discovered electric scooters while traveling in Asia. Fascinated by their convenience, maneuverability and eco-friendly design, James envisioned a future where electric scooters would transform urban transportation in the UK.
Back home, James teamed up with designers and engineers to create a prototype that improved upon the scooters he had tried abroad. After months of testing and refining, the first Aero Scooter® model was born.
We launched our online store in 2018 with the C3 Scooter, a lightweight yet rugged electric scooter perfect for everyday commuting. As happy customers spread the word, demand for our scooters took off. Bolstered by this early success, we expanded our product line to include scooters built for kids, off-road adventures and urban thrill-seekers.

James Wilson – Founder
James Wilson channeled a decade of experience as an industrial designer into launching Aero Scooter®. His engineering background paired with his love of adventure inspired James to develop eco-friendly electric scooters built for excitement. As CEO, James continues to shape the brand’s mission while fostering a company culture centered on innovation.
Alice Kim – Chief Technology Officer
Bringing over 15 years of experience to the role, Alice Kim ensures Aero Scooter® remains on the cutting edge of electric scooter technology. Her team is constantly testing new components and developing software upgrades to improve performance. She also oversees quality control and the assembly process.
